Position Title:Dupixent Gastroenterology Thought Leader Liaison
Summary:
Sanofi's Gastroenterology Thought Leader Liaison Team is expected to possess a high level of clinical and customer knowledge, have experience with both field and headquarters protocols and procedures, and possess drive and spirit to engage and influence KOLs to help build educational platforms and inform the execution of current and future brand and disease-state strategies in three core areas: Market Insights, KOL Engagement, and Commercial HCP Speaker Bureau.
The Dupixent franchise is a patient centric organization responsible for delivering the highest quality education and service regarding disease and treatment. The goal of the franchise is to penetrate existing and new markets to meet business goals by educating physicians and healthcare professionals on Dupixent s approved indications while upholding the Company's mission and values.
The EOE Thought Leader Liaison, Dupilumab role is a field-based, national marketing role working closely with gastroenterology U.S Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and cross-functional partners. The Gastroenterology TLL will work closely with other field professionals including but not limited to National Sales Directors, Zone Business Directors, Regional Business Directors, Area Business Managers, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access. The behaviors that are critical for success are ability to plan and execute long-term strategy cross-functionally through collaboration, communication, and relationship building. The Gastroenterology TLL will report to the Pulmonary/Gastroenterology Director of Thought Leader Liaisons. All TLL interactions are always within label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Play a key role in enhancing the understanding of GI diseases and the role of Dupilumab in the management of those diseases using on label materials.
Effectively partner with alliance partner, Regeneron, to develop and execute GI KOL national strategy.
Effectively manage the GI TLL budget against key brand priorities.
Assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success.
Aligning with cross functional account plans and teams, the Gastroenterology TLL orchestrates resources with the top 10%-15% of identified KOLs.
Responsible for execution of regional insight meetings.
Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs within the gastroenterology community to conduct substantial on-label business conversations.
Share KOL insights with marketing and senior leadership and provide feedback to commercial leadership on various topics as requested.
Identify, develop, and measure KOL advocacy aligned to key brand messages.
Enhance KOL organizational relationships through compliant engagements with senior leaders, medical, marketing and other internal brand partners.
The Gastroenterology TLL serves as the point of contact for the gastroenterology KOLs to the organization and is responsible for collaborating with field sales for promotional program scheduling with speakers.
Assisting with on-label KOL development, including speakers, with approved decks and materials in collaboration with Medical Science Liaisons.
Plan and execute KOL engagements and executive encounters during field engagements, local, regional, and national conferences, POAs, and other venues in a complaint manner.
Provide speaker recommendations to marketing when requested; identify emerging opinion leaders.
Execute a customer centric needs-based approach with targeted KOLs.

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree required, preferably in life science or business
3+ years in a marketing role
7+ years in industry (pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device) commercial experience
Gastroenterology experience
Thought Leader Liaison experience
Proven success in working in highly cross-functional operational commercial roles
Travel 80%
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of gastroenterology experience
7+ years in marketing, management, and operations
7+ years in working directly in gastroenterology
4+ as a respiratory, gastroenterology, or dermatology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL)
Demonstrated track record as a high-level performer who can take on additional levels of responsibility.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
Ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
Special Working Conditions:
Valid driver's license
Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory, or within a reasonable distance as determined by the Director of TLLs
Ability to travel 80%
Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs on the weekends as necessary
Must work within label, and regulatory and legal compliance guidelines
Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
